Product Overview
Our high-performance insulated plasterboard is designed for internal walls and ceilings, featuring a 102.5mm overall thickness. It combines a 90mm rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core with a 12.5mm tapered-edge plasterboard lining. This dual-purpose construction enhances thermal performance and offers a smooth surface ready for direct decoration.
The PIR layer, faced with foil, improves insulation and acts as a vapor control barrier, reducing heat loss and regulating moisture. The bonded plasterboard eliminates the need for a separate lining, saving time on site and delivering a clean, professional finish. Ideal for new-build housing and extensions, it helps achieve stringent U-values without the need for multiple products.

Features & Benefits
-
2-in-1 board (insulation + plasterboard): Speeds up installation by combining thermal lining and finishing in a single sheet.
-
PIR insulation core (0.022 W/m·K): Reduces heat loss while limiting required build-up depth.
-
Tapered edge plasterboard: Allows for neat jointing, skim finishing, and a paint-ready surface.
-
Inbuilt vapor control layer: Provides moisture resistance and helps limit condensation risk.
-
Lightweight but rigid: Easy to cut, handle, and install with standard tools.
-
Environmental credentials: Zero ODP, low GWP blowing agent, and BRE Green Guide Rating A+.
-
Board size 2400 x 1200mm: Standard plasterboard dimensions minimize joints and speed coverage.
Applications
-
Solid masonry walls: Upgrading thermal performance with a drylined finish.
-
Roofs (pitched/flat): Used as the underneath layer of insulation between or under rafters and joists.
-
Timber frame lining: Provides thermal lining and ready-to-finish surfaces in frame constructions.
-
Internal wall and ceiling linings: Fast, efficient upgrade in both new-build and refurbishment projects.
Installation Guidance
-
Fixing options: Suitable for dot-and-dab adhesive bonding or mechanical fixings.
-
Joint treatment: Use joint tape and compound at tapered edges for a smooth finish.
-
Cutting and handling: Score and snap plasterboard; use fine-toothed saw for PIR core; handle with care to avoid edge damage.
