Product Overview
Our High-Performance Bitumen Paint in a 5-litre tin is a solvent-based, full-bodied bituminous coating designed for durable protection of metal surfaces, timber, concrete, and roofing substrates. Once dry, it forms a black, odourless film providing reliable weatherproofing and corrosion resistance under prolonged exposure.
This coating resists dilute acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and water, ensuring long-term surface stability across industrial, agricultural, and general exterior environments. Its flexibility and adhesion allow it to bond effectively to a variety of materials including iron, steel, lead, zinc, aluminium, stone, brick, and felt, making it ideal for both refurbishment and protective maintenance work.
Applied by brush or spray, it offers efficient coverage on both porous and non-porous substrates, forming a film with a typical wet thickness of 0.1mm and a dry thickness of 0.05mm at an 11m²/L application rate. Designed for fast drying with predictable film formation, it delivers consistent results when applied in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +40°C. The 5-litre capacity is suitable for medium to large surface areas requiring weatherproof or corrosion-resistant coating.
