The aluminium shank is firmly mounted to a 50mm x 50mm galvanised steel base, coated with a high-quality, white, cross-linked, closed-cell polyethylene foam adhesive. Installation is straightforward: impale the insulation and secure it with the locking washer. Full bond strength is achieved after 24 hours, making it ideal for thicker insulation materials and heavy quilt build-ups.

• Fixing the Insulation: Impale insulation immediately and drive the locking washer down to clamp. Full bond develops after 24 hours.
• Finishing: Trim or cap the exposed pin as needed to prevent sharp protrusions and protect adjacent materials.
